StopMonsantoProtectionAct-288.jpgUrgent Action Requested: For Health’s Sake, Please Call and Email Obama Today, advising him to veto the "Monsanto Protection Act".

Please CALL the White House at (202) 456-1111 anytime after 9am EST yet ASAP and say:

"This is ______(name)______ , a registered voter from ______(city, state)______. I am calling with an urgent request that President Obama strike Section 735 from the 2013 Continuing Resolution. The rider defeats our country’s constitutionally guaranteed Separation of Powers between the Legislature and the Courts, by prohibiting the Courts from exercising their role regarding USDA Regulation and the nation’s food safety. Please remove this harmful rider. Thank you."

For the sake of health and welfare of humanity and all living beings, hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens, have expressed their overwhelming concern to their senators, representatives and the White House at the passage of the Monsanto Protection Act buried in the continuing resolution budget spending bill (Section 735).

Last week, the Monsanto Protection Act, hidden in a huge, complex funding bill, was rammed through the House, for a passing vote after being approved by the Senate late the night before. It is, to our knowledge, the first time in USA’s history that the congress and senate voted that a corporation would have legal immunity.

If Obama signs this bill, the rider found in Section 735 of the bill would create a precedent-setting limitation on judicial review of genetically-engineered crops so that Monsanto crops could continue to be grown while Monsanto would not be able to be sued.

We are reaching critical mass. There’s an opportunity to stop Monsanto’s latest threat to health at President Obama’s desk.

The 2013 Continuing Resolution is now on the President’s desk awaiting signature. It contains a rider we strongly oppose, and Mr. Obama CAN prevent from becoming law. With a groundswell of public outcry, it’s far easier for us to persuade the President. Please do your part NOW. Don’t delay – the bill is awaiting the President’s signature.

As a move to protect everyone’s health, Now is the time to make our voices heard and let Washington DC know that we’re not going to accept that Monsanto will be able to continue with their insane experiments and be unable to be sued continuously and simultaneously for the health crimes they are committing against inhabitants of our one shared Earth. Thank you for acting today.

Again, Please CALL the White House (202) 456-1111 anytime after 9am EST ASAP and say:

"This is ______(name)______ , a registered voter from ______(city, state)______. I am calling with an urgent request that President Obama strike Section 735 from the 2013 Continuing Resolution. The rider defeats our country’s constitutionally guaranteed Separation of Powers between the Legislature and the Courts, by prohibiting the Courts from exercising their role regarding USDA Regulation and the nation’s food safety. Please remove this harmful rider. Thank you."
